Storage headboard king – When you do not have space or budget for a bed consisting of headgear, footsteps and rails, consider attaching a bedside to your metal bed frame. A bed with a bedside table looks more complete than just a mattress and frame, and it gives you something to lean towards when reading or watching TV in bed. Bed sheets that attach metal beds are available in a variety of decorating styles and price ranges.
A storage headboard king that connects to a regular metal frame has elongated slots or a series of holes near the floor at each end of the bed. On some bedside tables, the slits or holes are drilled through the headboard’s legs. On the other, the openings drill metal or wooden tiles attached to the inside of the legs. By including slots or multiple holes, manufacturers make sure that their bedside boards will attach to metal bed frames of varying heights.
How to attach
If you want to attach a storage headboard king to metal bed frame, you’ll need wagon bumps, wing nuts and washers. The length and size required vary depending on the depth of the bed and the size of the slits or holes. With the gable standing upright, center the bed frame in front of it. The grooves on the bed frame should match the corresponding groove or holes on the bedside. Put carriage bumps in the grooves on the bed frame and push them through the openings on the bedside. Slip tiles over the protruding ends of the bolts on the back of the gable and then screw a wing nut on each.
